Time to Ship!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all staying safe and well!

A quick but exciting update. The dust jackets arrived this morning and they are beautiful! However, in my wisdom, I took photos of Pickle the cat and not the dust jackets when I was packing pledges. 

That said, orders will begin shipping out on Monday! All orders in "The Book (Only)" pledge and lower have been packaged, taped up, and are piled up ready to go to the post office. I plan to keep the parcels going out regularly whilst not overwhelming my very small local post office. 

Please keep an eye on the Royal Mail website for updates on international shipping (aka, if you live outside of the UK). Due to Covid-19, some parcels may take over 28 days to arrive, so please be patient. 

Also, due to the delay we've had in sending out the Kickstarter goodies, I've added a Mothman sticker to every order as a thank you for your patience! I really cannot wait for you all to get your hands, claws and paws on this book, it's been a labour of love and I am so excited! Thank you all for your incredible support, I could not have made this possible without you all. Thank you!

Locking Addresses

Hello all! I hope you are all staying safe and doing well. 

First up, Backerkit will have sent out an e-mail for you all to lock your addresses. If you suspect you will be moving in the next month or two, drop me a message and I can delay shipping until you have moved. I will keep you all updated as the shipping goes out.

We are just waiting on the dust jackets, but they won't be long, so I am making motions to start packing everything else. Below is a picture of the washi tape and the riso map.

Nearly There, a quick update!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and keeping safe! I'm dropping in with a quick update. Still aiming for an April dispatch, however, realistically it may be early May by the time parcels start leaving. So let's jump straight into manufacturing updates:

The following products have arrived:

• The books 
• Enamel pins
• Patches
• Prints and Postcards

We are waiting on:

• Washi Tape - it was dispatched on Wednesday, so should arrive soon
• Riso Prints - I will be picking these up next week
• Dust jackets - currently working with printer on these!

Once everything has arrived, I will lock down the addresses through Backerkit (you will all get an e-mail warning when this will happen). If you are moving house between May and July, please let me know so we can arrange alternative options. 

Secondly, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, parcels are taking a lot longer to reach destinations. I will be following advice from the Royal Mail - if countries are currently refusing postal services from the UK, I will hold back your parcel until the ban has been lifted.

Production Update & Book Sample

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well! I thought it would be best to drop in with an update on how things are progressing with the book and product manufacturing. I am currently aiming for an April dispatch (a little later than initially planned), if the dates change, I will let you all know. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

The Book

The sample arrived yesterday and I am super excited to show you how it has come out! There is a little bit of tweaking left to do, some last minute checks and edits to finish, and hopefully the book will be off to the printers by the end of next week!

I've done a small video flicking through the sample on my Twitter if you want to check it out (I apologise for the camera phone quality!)

Prints & Postcards

The prints and postcards have arrived! I am beginning to organise all the postcards into the packs to ensure a rapid dispatch system once everything is in. 

   Enamel Pin

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China, the factory manufacturing the pins have contacted me to say there will be a delay. Currently I have no date for arrival, but once I have one, I will let you all know, but at the end of the day, the health and safety of the workers is the priority. 

  Patches

Patches have been sent to print, and are due to arrive Mid-April.

 Washi Tape

Washi Tape has been sent to print, and is due to arrive at the end of March!

 Riso Map

 The Riso Print map will be brought to life once all the book has gone to print. Since I can print them myself locally, these will be ready before the final product arrives.

I apologise again for the delay in dispatching, but I am super excited to get this book out to all of you. It's been over two years in the making and I cannot thank you enough for all your support and patience! Thank you for taking the time to read! I hope you all have a lovely March!

BackerKit is Live!

Hello hello! 

I hope you're all doing well! I am super happy to announce BackerKit is live and you will receive an e-mail from BackerKit inviting you to complete the survey - so please double check your junk e-mail if it doesn't arrive in your inbox before the end of the day. 

Survey Deadline is: 20th January 2020. 

Ideally, if you could complete the survey before the New Year begins, that would be really helpful! 

If you know you're going to be changing address between now and March, don't fret. Drop me a message and I will contact you closer to the time of dispatching for address confirmation! 

You'll be able to add additional add ons to your pledge, but as a heads up! If you add additional books, it will significantly increase the shipping cost (as the books are pretty hefty and Royal Mail charge by weight and size). 

I've thrown in a couple of pre-existing cryptid pieces from my store, so you can get some additional pieces without paying for shipping twice.
